Topics covered included Canine training concepts, environment management, health & safety, instructional flexibility, instructional techniques, lesson planning, problem solving & research skills.

The holder of this credential has completed a programme in Trailing Dog Handling and Instructing, delivered by The College of Scent Dogs. The programme covers the skills and knowledge required to achieve a competent level of canine person trailing training. This individual has learnt to demonstrate successful trails, correct husbandry techniques when handling ‘Trail Odours’, they have also learnt how to share their knowledge with others.
